It has been a very interesting 2 months since my last job related post ; in a nutshell I am not in Seattle and I was not able to take the position with Microsoft that I've been talking about. So I've been at the new gig for a week now, and so far everything is going beautifully. Even though the company is headquartered here in Charlotte (500+ employees worldwide), the office here is small...maybe 30 or so folks, evenly split between Financial/HR and geeks (infrastructure, coders, and analysts...
I will be attending the local Charlotte NC launch of Vista/Office/Exchange on the 18th of January...if anyone else in the Charlotte area will be attending, drop me a line and we'll try to meet up, or meet for lunch somewhere uptown beforehand, or snacks afterwards, or whatever.
