&lt;p&gt;It
is by far the nicest Djembe I have ever played...very rich overtones
and smooth bass. If you are a percussionist and like it (and don&amp;#39;t mind
parting with $650.00), visit Steve&amp;#39;s site and get one of your own! Of
all the drums I own, this is my favorite.&lt;/p&gt;

I did manage to find some tonal progressions and hammered on it for a while once my hands started to hurt after about 5 hours of drumming. The artist&amp;#39;s name is Paul Sires for anyone interested in his work (Google him).&lt;/p&gt;

It was handmade by a Charlotte percussionist and sounded amazing. The circle at this point had about 50 people playing, but at its height would have closer to 250.&lt;/p&gt;
