Resource management is changing in Visual Studio 2005/.Net 2.0, moving from a string based lookup mechanism (i.e. ResourceManager.GetString([value])) to a strongly typed system. This is a welcome change, and one I’ve been exploring recently (finally getting around to learning VS2005 and all of the new features). Just wanted to consolidate my four posts on my VS.NET 2005 installation woes into one.
