Paint.Net 3.0 was released a couple of days ago, snag it while it's hot. It's good enough (for a non-professional designer) that I haven't found the need to install Photoshop on my rebuilt machine. In fact, I'm 100% Adobe free, meaning my machine is free of: Photoshop, Reader (replaced by Foxit ), and Flash.
