  • JK.com -- Feedburner Pro Enabled

I posted a while back about the Feedburner MyBrand service ...I've been taking it for a spin on some other low traffic feeds and am nothing less than blown away, so JK.com is now Feedburner enabled and ready to rock. Community Server 2007 has built in support for Feedburner out of the box; it's as simple as plugging values into a couple of textboxes, flipping a switch or two, and blammo...syndication feeds are burnerized. What that all means is that the transition should be seamless for existing...
  • Feedburner MyBrand Service -- Brand Your Feedburner Feed

I've had a Feedburner account for a while now, but have been reluctant to throw the switch on my site's feeds over to it...while I may not have a huge circulation (and therefore no "brand" to adhere to), I'd like to keep what little recognition I do have in my feed address instead of the generic feedburner.com/whatever, i.e. my name (or in the case of clients, their company name, etc). Feedburner now offers a pretty impressive array of services, so I was in the process of giving in and started to...
  • jaysonBlog Turns Three

I cannot believe it's been 3 years since I first decided to build my own blogging engine as a coding exercise one lonely night back in 2003, and here I am still pounding away at the keyboard in an attempt to keep my 5 loyal readers somewhat entertained. The most notable thing that happened to my site was that traffic congestion finally forced me to move it off my home network and over to a real hosting solution. Site content also noticeably started going more towards the Community Server end of the...
  • New Content Section Added to JK.com

I've created a new section on my site to aggregate external content that I read on a regular basis: My External News Feed . This is similar to the old CS2.0 Roller application, except that configuration is much more flexible. It's more of a way for me to keep up with the most common external sites I visit, but if you want to check out what I read on a regular basis feel free to have a look. Share this post: | | | | |

  • CoComment Conversations Tab Added To JK.com

I’m still really digging this CoComment thing (I wish more blogs were coco enabled! Patience…). One of the tools they offer is the ability to embed your coco conversations on your own site via a chunk of HTML (if you’re logged into your coco account, navigate here to get your code), so I decided to build a new tab on JK.com to put this on: Jayson’s coco conversations are located here (and if for some crazy reason you’d like to subscribe to an RSS feed of my coco comments...

  • New CoComment Feature

The developers over at CoComment have added a new feature to the coco service: Total blog integration . It’s worth mentioning that there is a typo in the script mentioned in the post; the correct script to add is as follows (the full script for Community Server can be found here ): var cocomment_force = false; <script type=”text/javascript” src=”http://www.cocomment.com/js/cocomment.js”></script> Voila, no more clicking the bookmarklet to have your coComments...

  • This CoComment Thing Seem To Be Really Taking Off

CoComment seems to be getting quite a bit of blog airtime over the past couple of days…could it be the next Technorati ? I actually think it has the potential to be that and oh so much more. A couple of stats from their blog : They’ve had a huge traffic spike according to Alexa , so much that they’ve had to stop doling out invites , and order more machines . They were beating the Superbowl in number of searches on Technorati for a while. They got a plug over on MoBuzz . They have...
