• So That's How The eSata Drives Generate Revenue Money

  My new eSata drive arrived today...Newegg was having a special, so I got 320 gigs for 80 bucks. You can't beat that, save for one thing: It didn't come with an eSata cable. Price of said cable? 20 bucks , and it has to be ordered seeing as no one in a brick and mortar around here carries them. Sounds like a fantastic ploy on the drive makers' parts: Sell the drive for cheap, but charge an arm and a leg for the connectivity. It was still a pretty sweet deal even after having to fork out... • Switching From Microsoft To Logitech Input Devices

  I've been a longtime user and fan of Microsoft input devices (keyboard/mouse)...pretty much ever since I made the move from Mac to Windows 9 years ago. That era is coming to an end as I'm transitioning over to Logitech hardware in my home office. Whereas Microsoft is all business with a touch of flash and a lot of comfort, Logitech is more about expanded functionality with a lot of flair. • This Could Only Happen In North Carolina

  A while back, the story about inhaleable alcohol broke over the internet (I can't find the specific link, but this was announced several years ago in 2004). Fast forward to today, and there's an article floating around stating the machines have been banned in my home state of North Carolina (in addition to 21 other states). • Well That Turned Out To Be A Nightmare

• "Rome" Is Off To A Fantastic Start

  "Rome" on HBO (stateside at least) was one of the sleeper hits from summer of '05... the wiki is pretty interesting . The season premier for season 2 aired this past weekend, and it seems to be off to a fantastic start. Unfortunately due to production costs, this will be the final season. Bummer. • Scam Update -- Final Chapter (And Other Stuff)

  One of those sleepless nights, and I realized I never did really sew up what happened with all the scam BS that happened a few months ago. In short, nothing really happened. My bank A) transferred most of the funds I had lost into my savings account and B) allowed me to cash it all out. I appreciate the donations that came in (which in hindsite I realize was a pretty tacky thing to ask for, but hey...desperate times call for desperate measures) and have paid most of them back. • I'm Thinking About Buying An Electric Scooter

  Gas prices are soaring (and yes, before any European readers comment I do realize that gas in Europe is 3x as much as it is here in The Colonies), insurance is ridiculous given how rarely I used to drive, and I usually don’t venture more than 5–10 miles from my house anyways. The one I’m looking at is this one . Anyone out there on the Scooter bandwagon? It really would be a good solution IMO.
