  JaysonKnight.com has been upgraded to Community Server 2007...if you're used to seeing this content in an aggregator, have a look around the new site . I still have a few kinks to iron out, but overall I'm very happy with the new themes included in CS. Is is the usual for me, I'll be going with stock CS themes that will evolve over time as I get around to making customizations. New to V 4.0 of JK.com: Clean clean clean. • Heading Down To Dallas

  A couple of the CS MVPs ( Rich and Rick as of now) are going to be in Dallas (that's the location of Telligent HQ for anyone not in the know) towards the end of September (22nd-25th); if I can find a ticket for the right price I will be heading down as well. If any other CS enthusiasts in the area are interested in meeting up let us know (or hell, if anyone feels like flying in to meet up)...we plan on: Crashing the Telligent office on Friday (if they'll even let us in the front door). • Working On Some CSModules

  The CS MVPs have been crazy busy lately, nose to the grindestone pounding out some CSModules that will be released when CS 2.1 ships. In the past I’ve created quite a few add-ins/modifications to the CS core (and have contributed a (tiny) bit of code that actually ships with Community Server), but have had limited experience with creating full blown CSModules.   Just when I thought I was out of the woods, it seems that trackbacks have decided to stop working on my site (they were working fine initially). Any other CS folks seeing this behavior? • Download Page Up and Running

  There is a new tab on my site called Downloads (thanks in no small part to this guy’s work…check out his downloads page for more nifty CS mods). For now the ability to right click/save as is disabled to prevent hot linking…I will be working on some sort of solution to enable this in the future (without the need to register on the site). RSS folks will have to wait a bit, though I will most definitely be getting an RSS feed set up for this page shortly. I will also be working on some sort of file... • BlogJet Users -- RFC for Adding Tag Support

  In an effort to get on the tagging bandwagon I contacted the folks over at BlogJet about adding support for tagging into their wonderful posting tool. In true developer style, they emailed me back asking how I would like to see it implemented. The obvious answer is to add another dropdown next to the post categories box; the values could be stored in a simple XML file that has an interface via the preferences dialog…selecting the tags would inject the necessary html to the end of the post. • Some Site/RSS Feed Updates

  Nothing too major on this round of updates; post categories are displayed on individual post pages (I will expand this to the main feed within the next couple of days), and post categories are displayed are displayed in feed readers that support this functionality (and more importantly, new posts will ping technorati/etc with these categories…there’s an Easter egg in the CS API that already supported this, was just a matter of tracking it down over on CS.org). • Change is in the Air

  I had previously stated that I wasn’t going to upgrade to Community Server 1.1 …well, I changed my mind after seeing the new Iroha skin being offered for the new version…what a great skin! So I took the plunge a couple of hours ago and upgraded; it was actually pretty painless due to Ken’s single blog configuration file generator …just plug in the url names you want and his tool will automagically generate the correct SiteUrls.config file, it’s then just a matter...
