A couple of folks in the Community Server have posted about a nifty offering from the folks over at Snap.com : Snap Preview Everywhere . It's a little gimmicky, but adds a nice touch to existing websites via just a couple of lines of javascript added to your header. I only have 2 complaints (if you can even call them that): I wish there was an option to specify the dimensions of the snap preview window (it's tiny on my 1600x1200 monitor), and an option to open links to external sites in a new window...

One of the hardships of moving to a new domain is intercepting and forwarding traffic from the old domain name over to the new one (without losing any traffic/google ranking/etc). Custom HttpHandlers in .Net make this scenario ridiculously easy to overcome. Pre-.Net, you would have had to roll your own ISAPI filter (in C++ no less) to accomplish something this seemingly trivial (though there is probably lots of pre-rolled code floating around out there, and more than likely some pre-baked turnkey...

[Preface] This is the original DTS package engine code for my DotTextCS utility; the DTS engine in CSverter is based on this code, but has dependencies on some of the Community Server business objects and has been refactored to reduce total LOC as well as performance enhancements (I will post the revised engine code once Robert and I get it stable).
