Looks like Dave Burke has been busy tracking down CS bugs as well; he’s devoted an entire category to CS mods/coding on his blog . At first glance, it appears he’s managed to resolve a few of the outstanding issues I haven’t tackled yet…so it looks like things should be back to normal around here shortly (and hopefully I can quit posting about my CS woes). Robert McLaws has posted a new build of CSverter specifically addressing .Text single blog configurations…lots of folks were getting invalid cast errors during the blog_Config table migration due to the BlogGroup column being null. Good job tracking that one down guys! Go read about the new release on his blog . Rob has informed me that he’ll hand the CSverter.Engine source back over to me once we get to a stable build, so hopefully I’ll be able to publish the source for that library...

Exciting news on the .Text to Community Server migration script; Robert McLaws came across my previous post and tapped me on the shoulder to beef up the engine for multi-blog migration scenarios so he could wrap a slick WinForms GUI wizard around it, so I’ve done just that. I was able to find some time today to start playing around with Telligent System's Community Server beta 1 today. It's not bad for a beta, though the administration piece is kind of a nightmare to navigate around...that being said, it's nowhere near as much of a nightmare to get blogs configured as .Text is. I only put about an hour into it today so I'm nowhere near ready to make any definitive statements about the product, plus it is indeed a beta so I'll probably refrain until v 1.0. My first impressions...
