JK.com Upgraded To CS 2.1 Beta 2

I’ve upgraded JK.com to the latest bits of CS…meaning CS2.1 Beta 2.  The new blog skins look great, however they suffer from lots of navigation issues, i.e. they aren’t consistent with the other (sitewide oriented) blog skins that shipped with CS2.0.  This is something that must be addressed before CS2.1 RTM’s.

That all being said, the upgrade was painless…a couple of DB upgrade scripts and that was it.  The big push for CS2.2 is an easier skinning model (i.e. you don’t have to be a CSS rocket scientist to tailor your site’s eye candy to your needs) which will be a welcome change.  2.1 is still a pretty big release though, and I’m enjoying it thoroughly.

Thanks for the kind words and feedback about the new blog skins. Are you talking about them missing the sitewide navigation links that appear in the masthead of some of the other blog skins?

Can you see any other obvious issues with them?

Hey Scott, that's great to hear. Consistency is a good thing :-).

Can I just pull his theme in from Vault and hit the ground running on CS2.1b2? Awesoke work guys!

Once I could find it, asked Ben to add it and he added site navigation to all new skins + RSS and Email notification subscription for Kid Congo ;-)  I forgot to inform you.
