Music To Code By Vols 4-5 Released

DJ Boliva has been kind enough to release volumes 4 and 5 of his “music to code by” series:  Partisan Scream Fest and Hunt the Wumpus (great titles…lovin’ it!).  The previous 3 releases were fantastic, as are these.  Track 7 on Partisan Scream Fest (~40:00) is absolutely slammin’.  Thanks Bolivia, and here’s hoping for an equally impressive volume 6 (which unfortunately will be the final installment).

Thanks Jayson, volume 6 has been recorded and should be online soon.  I'm playing at GDC this week on Wednesday night (San Jose) so I can't guarantee that I'll get the new mix online before next weekend, but we'll see.

There may be another extension to this series in the winter of 2006/2007.  It's been pretty popular so far, so we'll wait and see ...

Hey Bolivia...thanks for stopping by!  The life of a DJ eh...travelling around to such horrible places as San Jose ;-).  Can't wait to hear the new mix, and it would be fantastic if you kept the series going. One thing I've noticed is that most coders love music, and a lot of those coders love some good techno beats, so keep 'em comin' if you can.  Thanks for the great music!

I'm digging the mixes Bolivia.  I've veered away from trance/house-ish music over the past year.  I pulled down one of your demos and it went straight to the iPod and jammed to it at work today.  Nothing like some good tracks to put me in a working zone.  Keep 'em coming.
