I posted a while back about my “home away from home” (aka my workspace); over the past 9 months I’ve slowly been upgrading to v2.0. Most notably new for this version is a nice shiney 21” flatpanel display (got an incredible deal on it from the Dell website). Also new for this version:
- New multimedia rig (silver box on the right).
- Full 5.1 surround speakers for the ultimate in multimedia experience.
- Illuminated mousepad/binary LED clock.
- More books. More books. And more books.
I really wish I had a desk with adjustable height for keyboard/mouse/monitor; a couple of cube farms I’ve worked in have had desks that adjust up/down, allowing you to change position from sitting to standing…I really got hooked on working standing up, a nice change from sitting 9+ hours a day and no doubt good for your posture. Maybe I’ll get one for the v3.0 release.
