If you subscribe to this feed via Atom, please drop me a comment either here or via the Contact Me box; reason being is that I’m thinking of dropping the Atom feed for a bit until either A) I can fix it, or B) Telligent fixes it.
What’s wrong with it? Well, if you subscribe via Atom, I’m sure it’s pretty obvious. If you don’t, it has the same issues that have been plaguing my Rss feed, as well as a few more for good measure. I started going over the Atom code in CS and it appears to be somewhat incomplete (though I have fixed most of the same issues that I’ve fixed in the Rss feed, i.e. ability to post comments via feed readers; there’s no base class in CS for handling commentRss stuff so I’ve had to duplicate some of the code). If any Atom subscribers absolutely must keep the Atom feed format, let me know and I’ll fix it, otherwise I’ll be pulling it in the not so distant future.
Sidenote: Anyone who can tell me what the benefits of Atom over Rss are, please post them here. I’m not intimately familiar with either spec in detail (as to what one supports over the other, etc), so use laymen’s terms. Cheers.
